JT is Jamal Taslaq's maison: the Rome atelier, the seamstresses, the suppliers, the archive. Where Jamal signs a piece as its author, the maison signs it as a house — these are the pieces born of the atelier's collective craft, not of a single pair of hands.
What the maison signs
The JT signature covers archive reissues, house pieces and collaborations with guest brands. Creative direction stays with Jamal Taslaq; materials, production and warranty belong to the maison. It is also the signature that accompanies the programme designers' editions, when the piece leaves the Rome atelier.
Creative direction
Every JT-signed piece is made under the creative direction of Jamal Taslaq, who follows pattern, materials and fitting before the run opens.
