The limited editions on jamaltaslaq.com are goal-based runs: a piece goes into production only if, by a given deadline, a minimum number of pieces has been reserved — the goal shown on its page. These terms govern the reservation, payment, refund and delivery of those pieces, and the purchase of the ready-made pieces sold in the same showcase. They are offered by Jamal Taslaq ("the atelier", "we"); by reserving a piece you accept them.
You choose a size, where the piece has sizes, and pay the full price right away by card through Stripe. The reservation is recorded when the payment succeeds, and you receive a confirmation email with the number of your piece. You may reserve several pieces and several sizes of the same edition. Each edition is made once only.
At the deadline, if the reserved pieces reach the goal, the edition goes into production in the Rome atelier and your reservation becomes final. We keep you posted by email and let you know when the piece ships. The indicative delivery times are those shown on the piece's page and run from the closing of the run.
If the goal is not reached by the deadline, the edition is not produced and we refund you in full, automatically, without you having to ask. The refund is issued within a few days of the deadline to the same payment method; how soon it shows on your account depends on your bank, usually 5 to 10 days. No cost stays with you.
Until the run's deadline you can cancel the reservation from the "Your reservations" page: the refund is full and automatic, with the same timing as in point 4. After the deadline, once the goal is reached, the reservation is a confirmed order. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected, including the 14-day right of withdrawal from delivery, which does not apply to pieces made to measure or personalised for you.
For ready-made pieces, which you pay for and receive without a run, you can cancel the order with a full refund until it ships, from the same page; after shipping, the statutory right of withdrawal applies.
The price shown on the piece's page is the amount charged, in euro, taxes included; any additional costs, where applicable, are shown on the page before payment. Payment is made on Stripe: your card details never pass through our servers. If you receive the piece outside the European Union, import duties and taxes, where due, are your responsibility.
The piece is shipped to the address you give at payment, in one of the countries available on the payment page. If the address changes, write to us before shipping.
The size is chosen at reservation; the size guide is on the piece's page. Until the run closes you can ask us to change it by writing to us.
Items marked as demonstration pieces present the limited-edition model and are not for sale: reservations made on them have no value and involve no payment.
The data you leave for the reservation and shipping is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by Italian law; for consumers, the mandatory protections of their country of residence remain unaffected. For any question, write to us through the site's contacts.
