The story of the piece
«Ward» — flower — is a flared blush-pink mini skirt with a ruffled hem and a burgundy drawstring bow at the waist. The print — large burgundy anemones, white blossoms, green leaves — is hand-drawn by Amira, from sketch to fabric.
East and West
The anemones in the print are the ones that cover the hills around Nablus in spring, redrawn by hand by Amira; the flared cut and the ruffle are Italian tailoring.
