The story of the piece
«Zaytoun» — olive tree — is a tailored jacket in midnight-blue cold wool, with a clean couture cut. Its secret is on the cuff: a slender tone-on-tone tatreez line, designed by Layla and stitched by hand by the embroiderers of Nablus.
East and West
Tatreez is traditional Palestinian embroidery: cross-stitch geometries handed down from mother to daughter. Here it turns discreet — blue-on-blue thread with olive accents, only on the cuff edge — within a cut refined in Jamal Taslaq's Rome atelier.
